ABOUT DR. SAWHNEY
Meet Dr. Bavna Sawhney
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Bavna Sawhney has dedicated her career to providing the highest standard of patient care and creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
Dr. Sawhney’s academic achievements began early when she was awarded the Governor General’s Academic Medal, recognizing top-performing students across Canada. She went on to attend the University of Toronto, where she earned an Honours Degree in Human Biology with Distinction. She then attended Western University in London, Ontario, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
After several successful years practicing as a general dentist in Toronto, Dr. Sawhney pursued her passion for orthodontics. She returned to Western University and completed an additional three years of specialized training, earning a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics as well as Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Most recently, she was honoured with the distinction of Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Sawhney currently serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Graduate Orthodontics Department at Western University. She is passionate about mentoring future orthodontists and enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout more than 21 years in private practice.
She is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Ontario Association of Orthodontists (OAO), Canadian Association of Orthodontists (CAO), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), and the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).
As a Diamond Invisalign Provider, Dr. Sawhney has successfully operated her orthodontic practice for over 12 years. She is committed to continuing education and continually incorporates the latest advancements in orthodontic technology into patient care, including digital scanning and 3D printing technologies.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sawhney enjoys spending time with her husband, Neil, and their beloved puppy. Together, they enjoy travelling, reading, basketball, hiking, and cycling.
Creating beautiful smiles and achieving healthy, functional bites is more than a profession for Dr. Sawhney—it is her passion.

DR. PANAYIOTIS (PETER) SERVINIS
ABOUT DR. SERVINIS
Dr. Servinis is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics dedicated to providing personalized, evidence based orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults. Dr. Servinis earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He then completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU Langone Health in Manhattan, New York, where he gained extensive experience treating patients with a wide range of complex dental needs. After practicing general dentistry for three years, he completed his specialty training in Orthodontics at Western University in London, Ontario. He is a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and provides thoughtful, individualized orthodontic care for patients of all ages.
He has a strong interest in early orthodontic assessment, Phase One treatment, clear aligner therapy, braces, digital treatment planning, and facially balanced smile design. Dr. Servinis is especially passionate about clear aligner treatment and has been involved in aligner based orthodontic care for the past decade.
As an airway focused orthodontist, Dr. Servinis considers facial growth, jaw development, breathing, function, and long term stability when planning treatment. He enjoys working collaboratively with dentists and other health care providers to help deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary care.
Dr. Servinis has also contributed to orthodontic research. His graduate research examined changes in facial esthetics over the past century through the analysis of facial characteristics of Vogue magazine models, providing insight into evolving facial esthetic trends and their relationship to orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. He is committed to integrating current evidence and digital technologies into clinical practice to deliver personalized, predictable treatment outcomes.
Dr. Servinis is a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the European Orthodontic Society, the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, and the Ontario Dental Association.
Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, travelling, marathon running, and spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends.
